Open Sports Bets Essential Guide for Clearer Tracking

Gembet’s current Open Sports Bets guide directs players to My Bets from the account menu. The active wagers shown there are the bets that have been placed but are still awaiting bet settlement.

Use My Bets as the first place to check whether a sports wager was accepted. If the wager is already listed, placing the same selection again because the confirmation screen disappeared can create an unintended second bet.

Open Sports Bets generally remain active because the market has not yet been settled. That can happen while the match is still in progress, before an event starts, or after play ends while official result data is being confirmed.

The word “open” does not describe whether the selection is winning or losing at that moment. A football team may be ahead, behind or level while the wager remains open. Settlement happens according to the market rules and the final result used by the sportsbook.

If Open Sports Bets appear in My Bets, that is different from a failed placement attempt. An accepted wager has already entered the sportsbook system and normally has its own recorded details. You should not submit another stake merely because the event has not settled yet.

If the bet does not appear at all after an uncertain placement attempt, check the relevant account records before retrying. Establish whether a real wager already exists.

Open Sports Bets can remain unresolved for a period after the visible match clock reaches full time. Gembet’s current sports payout guidance says bets are typically settled within two hours after a match ends. In rare cases, confirmation of official match data can take longer, with settlement taking up to 24 hours.

A completed match followed by an open status is not automatically an error. The sportsbook may still be waiting for the result source required for settlement.

An Open Sports Bets record may appear as a pending sports bet or remain without a payout while bet settlement is being completed. That status should be interpreted in context rather than as an immediate account fault.

If the market depends on information beyond the final score, such as a player event or another specific condition, official confirmation can matter. Wait for the normal settlement window before assuming the bet has been graded incorrectly.

Once Open Sports Bets are settled, they can move into a completed result such as Win, Loss or Return/Void. A win pays according to the accepted stake and odds. A loss means the selection did not meet the winning condition. A Return or Void normally returns the qualifying stake without treating the selection as a standard win.

These are settlement outcomes. “Open” is only a temporary status while the final outcome has not yet been applied.

Suppose you stake SGD 20 on NORTH CITY to win at decimal odds of 2.00. Before the match ends, the selection appears among your Open Sports Bets. If NORTH CITY later wins and the market is settled normally, the potential payout is:

SGD 20 × 2.00 = SGD 40 payout

If NORTH CITY loses, the wager settles as a loss. If the market qualifies for a void under the applicable rules, the stake can be returned instead. The open status itself does not predict which of those outcomes will occur.

Open Sports Bets can involve markets that are not settled purely from the headline result. A bet on a specific player, period, total or other market has its own conditions.

Read the exact market name on the accepted bet. A 2-1 football score may look favourable for one prediction while being irrelevant to another. The recorded market wording is more important than assuming the score tells the whole settlement story.

Some Open Sports Bets may display a Cash Out option, but the presence of an open wager does not guarantee that Cash Out will always be available. Gembet’s current Cash Out guide states that the option may not remain available for the entire duration of a match.

A full Cash Out settles the bet immediately once confirmed and cannot be reversed. A partial Cash Out leaves part of the stake active and recalculates the remaining potential return according to the applicable terms.

For eligible Open Sports Bets, the available Cash Out figure can change as the event and market odds change. If the current situation is favourable, an offer may be higher than the original stake but lower than the full potential payout. At other times, it may be below the amount originally staked.

Do not treat a changing Cash Out value as a guaranteed forecast of the final result. It is an early-settlement offer, not a probability certificate.

Open Sports Bets should be reviewed using the odds recorded when the wager was accepted. The market may move afterwards, especially for live events or matches approaching kick-off.

If you placed NORTH CITY at 2.10 and the public market later shows 1.85, the later figure does not automatically replace the accepted price on your existing bet. Check the bet details in My Bets instead of relying on the current event screen.

Open Sports Bets that contain several selections can remain active until every required leg has reached a settlement. If an early event wins but another selection takes place several hours later, the combo can remain open between the two events.

One winning leg does not settle the full combo as a win. The remaining selections still need to meet their conditions unless the bet has already become a loss or another settlement rule applies.

When Open Sports Bets contain combo or system selections, a voided leg can affect the final calculation without necessarily voiding every remaining selection. Gembet’s current payout guidance says a voided selection in a combo or system is generally treated at odds of 1.0, while the remaining selections continue.

If every leg of a combo is voided, the full bet can be voided and the stake returned. Review the final settled record rather than calculating the result from memory.

An open wager and an account-funding issue are separate things. If you recently added money and the balance appears different from what you expected, resolve the payment record separately rather than assuming Open Sports Bets caused the deposit problem.

Open Sports Bets are best treated as active records that need time to reach a final settlement. Start with My Bets, confirm that the wager exists, read the exact market and check whether the event is still active or awaiting official result confirmation.

Do not place the same bet again simply because a screen refreshed, a payout has not appeared or the public odds have changed. If Cash Out is available, remember that it is optional and can disappear as market conditions change.
